What TB-500 is
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the active region of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring protein involved in actin regulation. Rather than the full protein, TB-500 represents the fragment responsible for much of Tβ4’s studied activity, which makes it a practical reference compound for research.
